11. Etsy Order Data

If you purchased a product from a shop that uses Printbird to deliver an editable version of that product through Etsy, we receive a limited amount of order data from Etsy so we can fulfill your purchase. This may include the order number, the buyer name, the items purchased, and — only where the seller and Etsy authorize it — the email address associated with the order. For this data the Etsy seller is the controller and Printbird acts as the seller's service provider (processor).

We use Etsy order data to verify your purchase, create your editable project, and tell you how to access it. We do not use it for third-party marketing or advertising, we do not use it to direct you away from Etsy, and we never sell it. Any email address tied to an order is not logged in plain text and is protected with access controls.

We retain Etsy order data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable timeframe, as described under Data Retention above.

The connected seller can disconnect their Etsy integration at any time, which stops Printbird from ingesting further order data from their shop. Etsy's own collection and use of your information is governed by Etsy's privacy policy, not this one.
